CaptureWEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (8/2/19) — Frances Jean Griffith Hartford died Wednesday. She was born on April 23, 1930 in Petersburg.

She graduated from Sebree High School, served on the Henderson Community Methodist Hospital’s Board of Directors for several years, a member of Sebree United Methodist Church and Onton Methodist Church, where she played the organ and piano. For the past six years, she has resided and cared for at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. Hartford was preceded in death by her mother and father, Henry Clinton Griffith and Viola Mae Griffith, brother Hugh Kenneth Griffith and former husband of 31 years, Marlin Thomas Hartford.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Rev. Russell East will officiate. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
