arrestredcentered 300PROVIDENCE, Ky. (12/2/19) — A Sturgis driver was arrested following a Kentucky State Police traffic stop Sunday morning in Webster County.

KSP Post 2 reported Trooper Ridge Porter saw a male driver, identified as Roy Morgan, 40, in a Buick Park Avenue not buckled up at 10:04 a.m.

After further investigation, KSP indicated Morgan was “operating under the influence” and methamphetamine was found inside the vehicle.

Morgan was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth-third or greater offense), DUI, failure to notify DOT of address change and no seat belt usage. He was taken to Webster County Jail.
