Crash 9 23WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (9/23/19) — One lane each along I-69 north and southbound were closed as crews clear the wreckage of a semi that crashed near Robards Exit 140 at the Webster-Henderson County line this morning.

State highway officials reported southbound lanes will be blocked for about an hour, begining at 7:15 a.m. today. Traffic will be detoured off Kentucky 416 Exit 140 to U.S. 41-S to return to I-69 southbound at the Kentucky 56 Sebree interchange.

The semi was hauling sheetrock and overturned in the median just after 5 a.m. The driver told authorities he swerved to avoid striking a deer.

Officials reported there were no injuries, and wrecker crews are working to upright the truck to tow it off. Robards Fire Department, Henderson Emergency Management and Henderson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded.
