ky trans cab 300WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (4/26/19) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported lane restrictions along U.S. 41 in Webster and Henderson counties in addition to Kentucky 2097 in Henderson County, starting 7 a.m. Monday to perform deck overlays on three bridges.

A contactor KYTC will reduce traffic to one 9-foot-wide lane on King Creek Bridge at milepoint 0.5 on U.S. 41 in Henderson County, East Fork Graves Creek Bridge at milepoint 0.17 on Kentucky 2097 in Henderson County and Groves Creek Bridge at milepoint 11.7 on U.S. 41 in Webster County.

Traffic will be controlled with temporary signals, and work is expected to be complete by Saturday, June 1, KYTC reported.

Vehicles wider than 9 feet and drivers that wish to avoid the work zones on U.S. 41 should detour via Kentucky 416, I-69 and Kentucky 56. Vehicles over 9-feet wide and those seeking to avoid the work zone on Kentucky 2097 should detour via I-69 and Kentucky 416. Expect delays, use added caution and slow down when approaching and traveling through the work zone, KYTC reports.
