BEDA, Ky. — Barbara Jane Bovay, 74, of Beda, Ky., passed away April 15, 2016, at her residence. She was born March 28, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Glover Watson and Pauline E. Banfield Watson.

Mrs. Bovay was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Loretta Robinson, of Breckenridge County; one son, Joseph (Sylvia) Cotriss, of Woodstock, Ga.; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson, James (Beverly) Johnson, Jr., Jennifer Johnson and Alyssa Cotriss; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, James (Mary Jo) Watson, of Sparta, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Bovay; two brothers, Robert Watson and Charles Watson and one sister, Mary Lou Williamson. 

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Beda with Rev. Ron Embry officiating. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
