drug investigation 01 300OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (11/21/19) — Possible illegal drugs seen in plain view of deputies serving an outstanding felony warrant led to two arrests at a Horse Branch home this week.

Ohio County Sheriff’s Office reported deputies were serving the warrant to 40-year-old Randall Carter, who answered the door and was quickly taken into custody.

“During the arrest, officers located what appeared to be methamphetamine and marijuana in plain sight,” Sheriff Tracy Beatty wrote.

The homeowner, Katina Oldham, along with Carter, were taken to Ohio County Jail Wednesday. They were each charged with first-degree possession of meth, trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Carter was listed as being held on $5,000 cash bond. Oldham was not listed as an inmate this evening.

Kentucky State Police assisted.
