drugarrest 300 bGREENVILLE, Ky. (2/27/20) — Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force reports a Greenville resident was arrested a third time Wednesday.

Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office Detective Troy Gibson, assigned to PNTF, charged Jason Haley, 44 of Greenville, with first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine-more than 2 grams, after a warrant was issued for his arrest Wednesday.

PNTF listed Haley was arrested twice late last year on the same charge. The most recent charge stems from a Feb. 17 search of a tractor-trailer being driven by Haley as well as at his residence off Kentucky 601 and vehicle, where officers reported finding approximately 20 grams of meth.

“Officers have recovered close to 100 grams from Haley since Dec. 31,” PNTF wrote.

Greenville and Powderly police departments along with Kentucky State Police assisted.
