mcc 01 300CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (10/8/19) — The Muhlenberg Campus of Madisonville Community College will hold open registration for new spring 2020 semester students beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15, MCC officials announced.

Interested students will be able to apply, meet with an advisor, and plan a class schedule for the upcoming term, administrator Jay Parrent reported.

To help promote the Martin Scholars program for Muhlenberg County adults over the age of 25, with 30 credit hours and no degree, a special registration opportunity will be available for students 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Students can learn more about the Martin Scholars program, funding their education and degree options.

In addition, staff will be available to assist students with the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship application, Parrent said. This scholarship provides free tuition for select associate degrees and short-term certificate programs in high-demand fields for students without a college degree. The Work Ready Scholarship is applied after all other federal and state aid is posted. Madisonville Community College has more than 50 programs eligible for the scholarship.

To learn more, visit or contact the Muhlenberg Campus at (270) 757-9881 or website at www.madisonville.kctcs.edu.
