squashGREENVILLE, Ky. (9/10/19) — The smells of funnel cakes and kettle corn, the sounds of chainsaw wood carving and the sights of artwork, leather goods and stained glass should put everyone in the fall mood this Saturday in Greenville.

The 20th annual Squash & Gobble Arts Bazaar and Fall Festival will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 in downtown Greenville with more than 150 artisans from across Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee.

The Glass Talisman artist Gail Oyler will not only bring her inventory of glass art but also will be creating new designs during the day. Bear Hollow Wood Carvers will be carving one-of-a-kind wood art as well.

Free children’s activities include pumpkin painting, pony rides, balloon twisting, train rides and a petting zoo.

There will also be an old-fashioned cornmeal making demonstration using a gristmill stone grinder. Cornmeal will be available for purchase.

A full food court will include offerings from several local restaurants as well as vendor specialties like lemonade shakeups.
