BROWDER, Ky. – Nolan Leo Casebier, 87, of Browder, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 6:55 p.m. at Maple Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Casebier was born April 20, 1927, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to stay busy working on tractors and working in the garden. He loved nature and cared for birds. He loved the relationships he had with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Turner Casebier; parents James Orvil "J.O." and Pauline Casebier; sons Johnnie and Larry Casebier; granddaughter Cara Beth Casebier; and brother Jospeh Casebier.

Survivors include his daughter, Hilda Casebier (Gary) Hammers of Browder; grandchildren Shara Hammers (Michael) Heacock of Hanover, Pa., Heather (Chad) Baggett of Bremen, Holly (James) Sanders of Paducah, Jaime Hagy of Browder, and Joshua Casebier of Browder; great-grandchildren Ashley Heacock, John Michael Mackey, Noah Hagy, and Raelyn Hagy; brother Donald Casebier; and brother-in-law Asber Turner.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Noffsinger officiating. Burial will be in Allens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
