margie sumnerCENTRAL CITY, Ky. – Margie Lucille Stobaugh Sumner, 77, of Central City, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at 6:30 a.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Sumner was born April 30, 1937, in Muhlenberg County. She was an assembly line worker at York in Madisonville, and was a member of Powers Chapel General Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Shelby Gene Stobaugh; second husband James Edward Sumner; daughter Pamela Kay Stobaugh; father Courtland Antle; mother Florence Thompson; step-father Willie Thompson; and brothers Charles Antle, Jerry Thompson, and Roger Thompson.

She is survived by her daughters, Vivian Stobaugh (Kelvin) Clark and Sandra (Henry) Reynolds, both of Central City; grandchildren Shelby Nicole (Justin) Latham and Nathan Reynolds, both of Central City; great-grandchildren Addison Temperence Latham and Zaleigh Latham, both of Central City; brother Rev. Billy (Wanda) Thompson of Central City; sisters Betty Marsh of Valparaiso, Ind. and Mary Nell Sallee (Jack) Moore of Boonville, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and family members.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial will be in Shavers Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
