CENTRAL CITY, Ky. – Harold "Danny" Daniel, 89, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Daniel was born July 18, 1925 in Muhlenberg County. He was employed as a truck driver for Leaseway Transportation and Motorcar Transport Company in Pontiac Michigan for 40 years without an accident. Mr. Daniel was a Mason for 25 years for the Cedar Lodge #60.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Clara Daniel; parents, Oval Shirley Daniel and Ollie Hearld Daniel; brothers, J.R, Ed and Butch; sister, Shirley Mae Fulkerson.
Survivors include his step-son, Jerry (Deborah) Rowsey of Belleville, Mich.; step-grandchildren, Carl Rowsey of Augusta Township, Mich., Paul Rowsey of Sumpter Township, Mich.; step-great grandchildren, Marcus, Kyle, Ryan, Sean, and Braxten; several nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Cindy (Gary) Shanks of Central City, Ky.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Larry Shemwell officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Moorman. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
