Daviess County PanthersOWENSBORO, Ky. (10/11/19) — Determined Daviess County managed to outlast rival Owensboro 2-1 in double overtime in the 9th District Boys' Soccer Tournament title game at Deer Park on Thursday.

With the win, Daviess County improved to 16-2-2.

Owensboro dropped to 15-5-2 with the loss.

Both Daviess County and Owensboro advance to the 3rd Region Boys' Soccer Tournament.

A kick from Daviess County's Andrew Glover hit off an Owensboro player and found its way into the net during the second overtime period to allow the Panthers to win.

Jacob Boling netted one goal for Daviess County during regulation.

Defensively for Daviess County, goalkeeper Radley Worth recorded five saves.

Josh Head scored Owensboro's lone goal in the loss.

Goalkeeper Cody Clark registered four saves for Owensboro in the short effort.
