Madisonville North Hopkins MaroonsBENTON, Ky. (12/8/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins notched back-to-back wins in the Marshall County Hoopfest Friday-Saturday.

The Maroons defeated host Marshall County and McCracken County during the annual event.

Madisonville-North Hopkins 67, Marshall County 57: Reigning 2nd Region champion Madisonville-North Hopkins used a balanced offensive effort to defeat host Marshall County 67-57 on Friday.

Kenny White led Madisonville-North Hopkins with a team-high 22 points. Accompanying White in double figures for the Maroons, K'suan Casey contributed 16 points and Deljuan Johnson added 14 points.

Marshall County led 31-23 at halftime. However, Madisonville-North Hopkins battled back to lead 47-40 at the conclusion of the third quarter. 

Zion Harmon led Marshall County with a game-high 37 points. Harmon was the only Marshall County player to reach double figures in the scoring column.

 

Madisonville-North Hopkins 72, McCracken County 67: Madisonville-North Hopkins held on to defeat McCracken County 72-67 in the Marshall County Hoopfest on Saturday.

K'Suan Casey paced Madisonville-North Hopkins, scoring 18 points and pulling down eight rebounds.

Madisonville-North Hopkins featured four scorers in double figures as Keshaun Stone netted 15 points and Kenny White chipped in 13 points while grabbing eight rebounds. 

Jackson Sivills led McCracken County, scoring a game-high 33 points for the Mustangs.
