JUVENILE charged 300PRINCETON, Ky. (12/3/19) — Princeton Police Department took a 15-year-old into custody today following an alleged school threat.

PPD reported officers were notified 7:27 p.m. that a non-specific threat of a school shooting was made during an online game.

Officers and detectives investigated immediately to identify a suspect, who is currently enrolled at a Caldwell County School. The teen was charged with second-degree terroristic threatening, PPD indicated, and taken to McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention.

Police believe there are no ongoing threats to schools in Caldwell County. Classes are on regular schedule Tuesday.
