armed robbery 300HENDERSON, Ky. (11/14/19) — Two alleged armed robbers were quickly apprehended in Henderson Wednesday afternoon.

Henderson Police Department reported receiving a 911 call related to an armed robbery at 41-N Express Liquor 2:20 p.m. The worker told officers two black men entered the store and one suspect pointed a gun at a clerk behind the counter, demanding money.

“The clerk was able to get a vehicle description and HPD had the two males in custody within several blocks of the business,” HPD wrote.

Detectives found clothing the suspects possibly had on during the incident, HPD reported, as well as cash believed to be taken from the liquor store.

The men were identified as Junior Balan, 23 of Evansville, Indiana, and 20-year-old Genesson Beraut of Florida. Police indicated Beraut told officers he was living in Evansville, but did not have an address and was deemed homeless.
