accident injuries amb 300DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (12/14/19) — Multiple authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries along the 6500 block of Kentucky 405 today.

Daviess County Sheriff’s Office reported deputies, Owensboro, Thruston and East Daviess fire departments in addition to AMR were called out 9:44 a.m. The driver of a Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling north on 405 and lost control on a curve, went sideways into the oncoming lane, striking a southbound Chevy Silverado.

Firefighters extricated people in the Dodge Caravan, DCSO reported. The driver, Chad Gibson, 42 of Owensboro, was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Two juveniles were taken to OHRH and later to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

The youth riding in the van were listed in critical condition today.

The driver of the Chevy was listed as James Luttrell, 33 of Owensboro, and passengers Carissa Benningfield, 25 of Owensboro along with four juveniles were taken to the local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
