(9/9/19) — Daviess County High School’s International Thespian Troupe 5849 will present “Back Cover” by Emily Hagerman at 7 p.m. Thursday and Saturday, Sept. 19 and 21, in the DCHS auditorium. Admission is $5 per person. The school is located at 4255 New Hartford Road.

A summary of the play, which is produced through a special arrangement with Stage Partners:

“The unexpected divorce of Madison’s parents relocated her to New York City – a place that she has vowed to loathe. Through incredible coincidence, Madison finds a shoebox full of letters belonging to a young woman named Jessica. The connection they form changes Madison, but it is the revelation that Jessica’s story ends with the 9/11 attacks that truly redirects Madison’s life. Narrated by Madison’s older self, “Back Cover” is a story of loss, courage, humanity, and the painful – but wonderful – experience of growing up.”
