Escapee 10 17UPDATE: PADUCAH, Ky. (10/18/19) — McCracken County Sheriff's Office reported a local jail escapee is back in jail.

Christopher B. Peevyhouse, 19 of Paducah, was spotted 1:04 p.m. today walking down South Gum Springs Road. He was charged with second-degree escape.

PADUCAH, Ky. (10/17/19) — Kentucky State Police reported receiving a call from the McCracken County Jail at approximately 7:48 p.m. Wednesday concerning a missing inmate.

Jail staff told KSP that Christopher B. Peevyhouse, 19, of Paducah, had escaped custody, KSP reported. Peevyhouse was participating in the welding program at Paducah Tilghman and walked away. Peevyhouse is described as a white male at 5-feet-9 and weighs 130 pounds, with brown hair, and green eyes. He was last seen wearing navy pants, a khaki shirt, a UK ball cap and glasses. Peevyhouse was last seen in the area of Baptist Hospital. Peevyhouse has a history of burglary, theft and weapons charges.

KSP asks if anyone has contact with Peevyhouse to contact police immediately. The investigation continues by KSP Trooper Justin Fox.
