apollo eagles logo 2015DRAFFENVILLE, Ky. (10/20/19) — Returning to the win column following back-to-back losses, Apollo upended host Marshall County 35-28 in a Class 6A, District 1 football game on Friday night.

With the win, Apollo improved to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in Class 6A, District 1.

Marshall County dropped to 2-6 overall and 0-4 in the district with the loss.

Running back Harold Hogg led Apollo to the win, rushing 23 times for 304 yards and four touchdowns.

Through the air for Apollo, quarterback Chase Rhinerson completed seven of 14 passes for 140 yards and one touchdown.

Brandon Husk paced the Eagles in receiving, hauling in four receptions for 87 yards and one TD.

Cameron Baker led Apollo defensively, recording 11 tackles.
