Owensboro Catholic logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (10/19/19) — Quarterback Drew Hartz completed 26 of 31 passes for 440 yards and four touchdowns as Owensboro Catholic beat visiting Hancock County 45-6 in a Class 2A, District 2 football game on Friday night.

Owensboro Catholic improved to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in Class 2A, District 2 with the win.

With the loss, Hancock County dropped to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in the district.

Hagan Edge emerged as Hartz's top target, hauling in eight receptions for 195 yards and three touchdowns. Another receiver, Aaron Logsdon, reeled in one touchdown pass reception for the Aces.

Drre Thruston led Owensboro Catholic on the ground, rushing seven times for 151 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, Aaron Buckman paced Owensboro Catholic with 13 tackles.
