KSP CRUISEROAK GROVE, Ky. (2/25/20) — Kentucky State Police Post 2 reports two recent arrests in Christian County following a traffic stop.

Trooper Daniel Holland reported seeing a 2018 White Jeep Renegade enter I-24 via the on-ramp from Kentucky 115 at 6:49 p.m. Friday. While merging into traffic, the Jeep nearly struck another vehicle, and then continued to follow that vehicle too closely.

Trooper Holland initiated a traffic stop on the Jeep, where he came in contact with the driver, identified as Rashylah Boaze, 24 of Florissant, Missouri, according to the report. Also in the vehicle was a passenger Devan Cockroft, 23 of St. Charles, Missouri.

Through further investigation, Trooper Holland discovered the Jeep had been reported stolen to Houston Police Department in Texas.

Boaze was arrested and taken to Christian County Jail, where she was charged with failure to yield right-of-way, following another vehicle too closely, no driver's license, no insurance card, receiving stolen property-vehicle ($10,000 or more).

Cockroft also was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.
