ANNOUNCEMENTCHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (12/28/19) — The deadline is approaching to pay property taxes without a penalty.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports the office will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday to process payments, 701 W. Seventh St., Hopkinsville. The property valuation administrator makes tax assessments on property as well as exemptions.

Payments are accepted in person (bring tax bills) via cash, check, money order or online. Cash should not be sent by mail. According to the sheriff, a 5 percent penalty applies as of Jan. 1.
