dpilimglib2c 300x300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (12/12/19) — Hopkinsville-Christian County Imagination Library is hosting an afternoon with The Grinch!

Librarians say The Grinch will be at the library 1 p.m. Saturday, and the fun begins with How the Grinch Stole Christmas, read by The Grinch himself, followed by photos and a craft.

Imagination Library thanks Chick-Fil-A of Hopkinsville for providing delicious cookies for guests. Director, DeeAnna Sova, said, “The Grinch was a big hit at the library in 2018 and we are so pleased that we are able to bring him back. This program works well with the ice skating, the polar express and Christmas Parade. Programming with the organizations provides a full holiday experience for our community.”

Librarians plan to offer a limited quantity of coloring books to be signed by the Grinch. Books will go on sale 12:30 p.m. for $5 each. This event is free to attend. Organizers hope the community will enjoy a complete afternoon in downtown Hopkinsville.
