Arrest 12 5 MorrisHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (12/5/19) — Deputies looking for a wanted fugitive with three felony warrants to serve reported finding illegal drugs at a residence off Glass Avenue this week.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported locating a man 3:05 p.m. Tuesday identified as 29-year-old Justin Morris of Hopkinsville, noting he was in possession of suboxone, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash.

A warrant was granted for a search at the home, where authorities reported finding more contraband including several bags believed to contain meth, two handguns, multiple rounds of ammunition, digital scales in addition to several counterfeit checks.

Morris was charged with possession of meth (second offense), first-degree trafficking in meth, two counts of felon in possession of a handgun, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and served probation violation warrants.

He was listed as being held in Christian County Jail today on $170,000 cash bond.
