Miller DJCHRISTIAN COUNTY (9/10/19) — A Madisonville man was arrested Monday evening after he allegedly used his vehicle to strike a four-wheeler along Grapevine Road in Christian County.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported deputies were dispatched 4:25 p.m. to the scene of the crash involving injuries. When officers spoke to Dillon Jacob Miller, 29, Miller stated “he accidentally ran into the four-wheeler because of the four-wheeler creating dust on a gravel road and he could not clearly see the vehicle.”

Further investigation revealed the people on the four-wheeler stated Miller “flagged them down on the road, making them come to a stop,” telling them “they were trespassing on private property.” The ATV riders told Miller the property was a county road. An argument ensued, and when the riders tried to leave, Miller ran into the four-wheeler using the passenger side of his vehicle, according to arrest citation information.

“There was apparent, obvious fresh damage/circular tire marks on the passenger side door, indicating the area of impact,” CCSO wrote. One of the victims was taken from the scene via EMS to Jennie Stuart Hospital for medical evaluation.

Miller was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment. He was listed as being held in Christian County Jail this morning, pending bond.
