Hopkinsville TigersHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (1/15/20) — Hopkinsville remained in the loss column as visiting Northeast (Tenn.) pulled away to win 61-42 in a boys' high school basketball game on Tuesday night.

Following the setback, Hopkinsville dropped to 7-11.

Joshua Alexander led Northeast with a game-high 16 points. Isaiah Farrior added 14 points and Jalen Hooks contributed 12 points as Northeast notched the win.

Northeast led 34-15 at halftime and remained in control throughout the second half.

Javon Smith-Rudd paced Hopkinsville with 12 points. Accompanying Smith-Rudd in double figures for the Tigers, Reece Jesse contributed 11 points.
