DCOWENSBORO, Ky. (9/8/19) — Daviess County returned to the win column on Saturday, downing Seymour (Tenn.) 7-1 in the Thoroughbred Cup at Thompson-Berry Soccer Complex.

With the win, current 3rd Region frontrunner Daviess County improved to 11-2-0 in the 2019 girls' high school soccer season.

Mackenzie Sweat, Morgan Lucas, Ashlyn Payton, Avery McNeiley, Bree Owen, Meredity Campbell and Tori Beth Bayliss each scored goals for Daviess County in the victory.

Defensively for the Lady Panthers, goalkeeper Emma Patterson recorded five saves.
