Madisonville North Hopkins MaroonsMADISONVILLE, Ky. (10/5/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins dominated on the road in Week 6 of the 2019 high school football season, defeating rival Hopkins County Central 48-14 in a Class 4A, District 1 game on Thursday.

With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins improved to 6-1 overall and 1-1 in Class 4A, District 1.

Hopkins County Central dropped to 0-7 overall and 0-1 in the district with the loss.

Senior running back Jeriah Hightower led Madisonville-North Hopkins to the victory, rushing nine times for 259 yards and four touchdowns.

Delivering through the air for Madisonville-North Hopkins, quarterback Hayden Reynolds completed three of six passes for 20 yards and two touchdowns.

Boyd Metheny and Marquise Parker hauled in one touchdown pass reception apiece for the Maroons.

Defensively for Madisonville-North Hopkins, Parker recorded an interception.

Quarterback Adrian Stringer led Hopkins County Central, completing eight of 30 passes for 95 yards and one touchdown while throwing one interception. Johntize Miller was on the receiving end of Stringer's scoring pass.

Nolan Adams led Hopkins County Central on the ground, rushing 14 times for 49 yards and one touchdown.
