Madisonville North Hopkins MaroonsMADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/19/19) — Unbeaten Madisonville-North Hopkins is set to host Ballard Memorial in Week 5 of the 2019 high school football season on Friday night.

Madisonville-North Hopkins (4-0) has notched wins over Union County, Marshall County, Daviess County and Christian County. The Maroons have outscored opponents 161-36 through the first four games in the 2019 season.

Senior running back Jeriah Hightower leads the Maroons. Hightower is averaging 240 rushing yards and nearly three touchdowns per game. In four games, Hightower has rushed 96 times for 960 yards and 11 touchdowns. Hightower leads the state in rushing. He is among the top rushers in the nation. Earlier in the season, Hightower led the nation in rushing. 

Quarterback Hayden Reynolds paces Madisonville-North Hopkins through the air. Reynolds has completed 40 of 79 passes for 558 yards and eight touchdowns while throwing only one interception.

Deljuan Johnson is Reynolds' top target. Johnson has hauled in 15 receptions for 402 yards and seven touchdowns.

Defensively, five Madisonville-North Hopkins players have posted 30 or more tackles through four games.

Ballard Memorial is 0-3. The Bombers were open in Week 2 of the season. Through three games, opponents have outscored Ballard Memorial 133-20.

Limited offensively, Ballard Memorial is averaging less than 100 rushing yards per game.

Kickoff for the Madisonville-North Hopkins-Ballard Memorial football game is set for 7 p.m.
