Hopkins Central Storm SoccerPRINCETON, Ky. (9/18/19) — Hopkins County Central fell short as host Caldwell County won 2-1 via penalty kicks in a 7th District boys' soccer match on Tuesday.

With the loss, Hopkins County Central slipped to 2-5-3 overall and 0-1-0 in the 7th District.

Caldwell County improved to 3-7-1 overall and 1-0-0 in the district with the win.

Blake Vivrette netted two goals to lead Caldwell County to the victory.

Goalkeeper Josh Hagan paced Caldwell County defensively, recording 12 saves while limiting Hopkins County Central to one goal.

Jesus Gallegos scored Hopkins County Central's lone goal in the short effort. 

Defensively for the Storm, goalkeeper Chase Garrett recorded six saves.
