GREENVILLE, Ky. (9/17/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins notched its 12th straight win on Tuesday, blanking host Muhlenberg County 5-0 in the Constitution Day Invitational.
Longtime girls' high school soccer rivals, Madisonville-North Hopkins and Muhlenberg County hail from neighboring regions.
With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins improved to 12-1-1.
Muhlenberg County slipped to 6-8-0 with the loss.
Camryn LaGrange scored three goals and dished out one assist to lead Madisonville-North Hopkins to the victory.
Mia Newcom and Emma Peyton rounded out the Madisonville-North Hopkins scoring, netting one goal apiece.
Kylee Coyle and Lillie Carmen recorded two assists each while Kensley Zieba registered one assist for the Lady Maroons.
Defensively for Madisonville-North Hopkins, goalkeeper Kara Franklin recorded three saves and a shutout.
