WC logoCALHOUN, Ky. (1/22/20) — Destin Allen scored 15 point and Zaine Geary added 13 points as Webster County beat host McLean County 65-45 in a boys' high school basketball game on Tuesday night.

With the win, Webster County improved to 17-2.

McLean County dropped to 11-6 with the loss.

The Trojans set the tone early, outscoring the Cougars 19-10 in the opening quarter. Stretching its lead in the second period, Webster County outscored McLean County 20-9 to lead 39-19 at halftime.

Accompanying Allen and Geary in double figures for the Trojans, Tyler Camplin and Hunter McNaughton added 11 points apiece.

Jacob Clark paced McLean County, scoring 13 points for the Cougars in the loss.
